Will Nash returns the Dallas Spirits for his fourth season of play following stints with a number of top teams in NTABL baseball. Nash brings with him a variety of league and tournament play experience and will assist the Spirits both in the field of play as well as in the dugout.
Nash’s stint with the Spirits turned into more of full time gig during 2021, as he added depth to the Spirits (40+) roster. Nash hit .333 last season, including 3 doubles, 5 runs scored, and 4 RBIs. The scrappy catcher, first baseman, and DH also put his wheels to the test, adding 6 free passes to first and then making teams pay with 6 stolen bases in just 8 games played.
Nash hit .290 for the Spirits (40+) squad in 2022, adding 8 hits including a double, 6 walks, 10 runs scored, and 2 runs batted in. For the (45+) team, Nash hit .300 with 9 hits including 3 doubles and one triple, 5 walks and 11 runs scored and batted in. For the Spirits (50+) squad, Will finished with a .467 average, adding 14 hits including 2 doubles, 12 runs scored, and tied for third on the team with 14 runs batted in. During the Fall season, Nash hit .800 in just 4 games played, finishing with 8 hits, 3 walks, and 3 runs batted in.
His attitude and personality fill up the dugout and he is constantly making his teammates better, both on and off the field. He’s a natural leader, providing expertise in his play as well as assisting his teammates with advice both offensively and defensively. Nash will continue to utilize each of the positions he plays to helps the Spirits (40+), (45+) and (50+) squads win ball games and he’ll act as the starting catcher for the Spirits (40+) squad during 2022.
