After several years of playing as a competitor against the Spirits, Vince Parello joined the Spirits (50+) squad in 2022. Parello returns in his second season, bringing a solid glove and a strong arm to the Spirits’ outfield. Vince also has the ability to play infield and pitch if needed, and the team can count on a solid bat at the dish as well.

Vince played baseball at Libertyville High School in the Chicago area, and later added a couple of years of baseball tenure at Valparaiso University in Indiana. He’s been a player for the DFW Hurricanes Baseball Club for the past 10 years, and remains as a Spirits opponent in other leagues, and he’s also had additional action playing the past 4 years at the Phoenix World Series with the Chicago North TSPs.

He hit for .375 with the Spirits in 2022, adding 11 hits including a double, 9 runs scored, along with 3 walks, 4 stolen bases, and 6 runs batted in.

Parello has lived in Dallas for the past 21 years after growing up in Chicago. He spent his first 10 years out of college as a member of the Chicago Board of Trade. He was a 30 year Treasury Bond Trader in the pits of the CBOT and has since moved onto a District Sales Manager position for a dermatology company based out of Denmark. His hobbies include fishing and golf outside of the diamond, and he considers himself an avid fisherman, having competed against some of the best during the Bassmasters during 2004-2010.

He’s married to his wife, Kristi for 15 years, and has a son, Vincent (11), and daughter, Alexa (9). Parello and his family live in Carrollton, TX, where they have spent the past 5 years.
