Sean House

Sean House returns to the Dallas Spirits for a fifth season after assisting the squad in winning the NTABL Masters (45+) league in 2018 and again in 2021. House will also server part time on the Spirits (50+) roster in 2023. Injuries have limited House’s ability to play more often but when he’s on the field the team can always rely on him to be an asset on both offense and defense.

House played at Northwood University in Texas and his experience includes 4 years of Independent League baseball, where he compiled a 20-12 record overall with 198 strikeouts in 273 innings of work.

Sean took on more of a full time role with the Spirits (45+) team in 2021, finishing the season with a .353 batting average. House had several key hits in big games, and finished the season with 12 hits, including 3 doubles, 7 runs scored, and 13 runs batted in, good for fourth on the team. House’s patience paid off at the plate as he also drew 5 walks and was once hit by a pitch.

House was extremely helpful on the mound, once again finding aspects of his true form as a pitcher. Sean finished with a record of 1-1, tossing 22 innings that included a 2 to 1 strike to ball ratio, 2.29 ERA, and 17 strikeouts. He played an integral role in helping the Spirits capture their second NTABL Masters (45+) Championship.

House hit for .480 in 8 games during 2023, adding 10 hits, 2 doubles, and 7 runs batted in. He made 4 appearances on the mound, finishing with 8 and a third innings pitched, finishing with 4 strikeouts. House will add depth to the Spirits infield and offense as he returns to the NTABL Masters squad and begins playing with the DFW-ABA (50+) squad. House can provide more than just a great pitching arm as he is a solid defender in the infield and can be relied upon for clutch offense as well.
