Kevin Simmons returns for a third season as a Dallas Spirit, offering a great arm alongside a great bat in the lineup. Skilled as utility player that can play any position, Simmons has offered his assistance as an outfielder, infielder, and as a pitcher for the ghosts, providing an immediate impact in any position or spot he plays.
Simmons hit .439 over the Summer in 2025, adding 10 runs scored alongside 10 runs batted in for the 45 squad. For the 50 squad, Simmons finished with a .429 average, adding 13 runs scored and another 13 batted in. In the Fall, his average spiked even higher, finishing with a .476 average, adding 2 doubles and a triple along with 10 runs scored and 7 free passes to first.
Simmons came off surgery in 2024, working his way back to the mound, playing in the field, and regaining his strength as a hitter. His efforts are proving positive as he heads into the 2025 season with the Spirits.
