Price takes pride in his friendship and relationship with his teammate, Chris Allen, noting that Allen is his closest friend and the the one in high school who pushed him to play baseball at North Garland. He notes that if it wasn’t for Allen, he may have chosen to play soccer of football in college by walking onto a team. In October 2022, Price elected to have gastric sleeve surgery and as a result, dropped from 315 pounds down to 250.
