Dr. Lauren Cunningham received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Texas Woman’s University.
Dr. Cunningham has a love for sports, having played soccer throughout her life and at the collegiate level during her years at TWU. She was first introduced to the world of physical therapy after an ankle injury in high school, leading her to pursue the career she now enjoys.
Having a passion for delivering holistic care, Dr. Cunningham’s approach involves educating and equipping patients with the knowledge and resources needed to promote a healthy lifestyle and regain functional movement. She is a current member of the APTA and is active in researching and implementing evidence-based practice in the clinic.
Dr. Cunningham and her husband, Cole, currently reside in Irving and are active members at MacArthur Blvd Baptist Church. In her spare time, she enjoys learning about new cultures, staying active, painting, and baking desserts.
