Aaron Wilson

Aaron Wilson returns to the Dallas Spirits and is originally from Evansville, Indiana. Wilson was a four-year varsity letterman, team captain, and Indiana all-state selection for Reitz Memorial High School. He played college ball at the University of Kentucky, where he was an Academic All-Section Selection.

Aaron returned to play a more frequent role with the Spirits in 2020, finishing with a .333 batting average with an additional defensive glove for the Spirits outfield. In 2021, Wilson hit .375, finishing with 15 hits and 6 extra base hits that included 4 doubles and 2 triples. Wilson crossed the dish 11 times and his 13 runs batted in always seemed to come at key times in games. Wilson also drew 6 free passes to first and stole a pair of bags for the Spirits (40+) squad.

Wilson has additional experience outside the confines of UK, including Semi-Pro play with the Evansville Outlaws. A solid bat and a solid arm, Wilson will assist the team with outfield play and some pitching when needed and will also be an asset of the offensive side of the diamond as well.

Aaron has had some great flashes of both hitting and throwing and has been part of successful Fall Ball campaigns with the Spirits, including being part of the 2019 NTABL Brazos Fall Championship.
