Two Spirits Teams Prepare for 2016 Opener

The Dallas Spirits Baseball Club is primed for the 2016 season and this year, players, family members, fans, and friends will be twice as busy as previous seasons. That’s due to the upgrade of two separate teams competing in separate leagues this season. The original team continues in the NTABL 35+ Veterans league, but several players as well as some new faces will also be competing in the NTABL Masters 45+ season.

2-time team MVP and batting champ, Kirk Sipila will manager the 45+ roster while Shawn Lee remains the 35+ team manager as well as club manager. Kirk has a natural leadership and presence and the club looks forward to the experience he brings to the table. The club is excited about the opportunity to compete in two separate leagues as they form additional bonds with other teams and players, as well as gain experience and competition in different levels of the game which can help in any future tournament endeavors.

The Masters (45+) team kicks things off Monday, April 4th at 6:30PM at Reverchon Park in Uptown, Dallas. They face last year’s Masters champions, the Dallas Rangers. Join the team for the 2016 tip off as they thank you for your support!
