Jason Bottenfield

Jason Bottonfield makes his debut with the Dallas Spirits following several years as a player on the NTABL powerhouse, DFW Giants. An annual All-Star, Jason got his start at the University of San Antonio-Pan AM and then a segue into the big leagues after he was drafted by the Boston Red Sox, 22nd overall in 1999. Bottonfield spent several seasons in the Minors with both the Lowell Spinners and Augusta Green Jackets before injury in 2001. Bottenfield still possesses a large amount of talent serving as an infielder as well as continuing to pitch when needed.

Jason is capable of any position on the field and those talents are also apparent offensively as he’s both an effective and powerful hitter. Bottenfield currently serves as a North Texas Amateur Baseball League (NTABL) Board Member and as the acting Vice President of the 18+ Open National League. The Spirits Baseball Club will reap from Jason’s experience, great attitude, and leadership ability. The Flower Mound, TX native is the First Vice President, Financial Adviser, and Certified Financial Planner with Morgan Stanley in Dallas, TX.
