Chris Lewis returns to the Dallas Spirits in his 5th season of play and as one of the team’s best contact hitters. You can expect Lewis to provide an offensive impact to each game he plays. A solid utility player, Lewis can play nearly any position. You’ll typically find him at 1B in the infield if he’s not at the C position, but he’s also very capable of any infield position or playing in the outfield. More often than not, the team relies on his hitting contributions at the DH position to provide clutch hitting and needed offense in any game scenario or tournament.
In 2016, Lewis hit .417 with the Veterans (35+) over the season, finishing with 10 hits overall in 8 games. Chris also finished with 7 RBI and an OPS of .878 (On Base Percentage combined with Slugging Percentage). For the Masters (45+) squad, Lewis batted .455, including 10 hits and 7 runs scored.
Lewis loves to travel and to play in tournaments, and annually visits the World Series in Phoenix, AZ. In 2015, he had the opportunity to face legend Roger Clemons as well as numerous other talented players during game play.
