Spirits (18+) Coast Past Athletics

(April 30, 2017 – Dallas, TX) The Athletics didn’t prove to be much of a hurdle for the Spirits (18+) squad this past Sunday afternoon at Jesuit College Preparatory in Dallas, as the team coasted to victory behind solid hitting by Justin Anderson, Eric Goetz, Duane Aponte, Dana Donato, and newcomer, Teddy Croft. Anderson and Goetz each went 3-for-3 on the afternoon with Aponte adding a double to his dossier. Donato and Cliff Brade each doubled on the afternoon with Donato also contributing a pair of runs scored and batted in. JP Seider also had a big afternoon going 2-for-3 from the dish with a run scored and 3 runs batted in. Goetz added a pair of RBIs and a run scored and 8 additional Spirits hitters provided at least one hit or one run batted in on the day.
